There is no announced sequel. This is clickbait. The 'united fans' are a handful of redditors.
Rockstar games are a number one source of clickbait. Always "We don't know when it's coming, but we're really excited!"

My dad works at Nintendo. There's a sequel in the makes.
That's a lie! My friends sister's nephew's grandfather's uncle's son works in EA, and I was told that they bought the IP to RDR. Expected release is in three months, they just don't want the hype.
That's a lie! My other dad works at EA and laughed when I showed them this. They said they wish it would be out in 3 months.
