@gravitas_deficiency @skhayfa A lot of Texans believe Jesus will save them. Can't wait to see how that plays out. Maybe we'll get to see a modern Plague of Justinian. Only it'll be the Plague of Paxton or some other asshole in power who defends this idiocy for their own selfish short-term political gain. (Part of me, though, suspects that Paxton is just trying to avoid prison at this point. Much like Cheeto Bandito.)
