forgive my ignorance, why are these bad positions for him to hold? Secretary of banks, trade unions, etc doesn't sound bad. I could use a tl;dr on this one.
They're not bad positions for him to hold. Kallas keeps pretending that her family was oppressed during communism, but in reality they were part of the system and greatly benefited from it.
Holding high ranking positions <--> Being oppressed
