Resigning isn't courageous.
It takes a long time to fire a long term fed, but if you resign a bootlicker takes your desk tomorrow and does what you wouldn't.
A real, courageous, patriot would stop Musk.
Those are not positions that take drop-in replacements, no matter how smart they are.
If you're trying to run it competently, sure.
Do you think that's what they want?
You think that's what Elmo and Trump have as a goal for the federal government?
Didn't say anything about doing it well, just that the replacements face a hella learning curve and will fail.
On the other hand, if/when a saner administration comes in, these are the people you would hire for senior positions due to integrity.
