Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! ✈️

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

sans serif is what I use in my app reader evie, though I don't actually read that much, I just listen via its TTS function

Librera F-Droid or much Better Librera Pro in github yes their pro version is free in github has tts function too you might like it the only offputting for me in Librera is there is no highlight only bookmark text

evie is also free, I've tried many reading apps, pero sa evie yung pinakamadaling gamitin UI wise, at may built-in equilizer which is heaven send sa pagadjust sa tono ng TTS

Segoe UI. Kung bakit maganda sa mata ang text sa Windows (para sa'kin)

Para sa'kin 'di ganoon kaganda Calibri kapag malaki text tulad sa mga title at logo

since your using windows, may ituturo akong magic trick hahahahah

mag open ka ng new ms word, then lakihan mo yung font, yung sobrang laki, kapag mas malaki mas malaki din yung magic mwehehe

pag okay na

itype mo 263A

then

ihightlight mo yang 263A

so eto na yung magic

now press

ALT and x at the same time.

don't spoil sa iba yung magic, hayaan mo silang mag try

Lexend, it will make you read and comprehend faster based on meager studies with meager participants so further research is needed, so far the claims are promising if anecdotal evidence is valid enough to convince you

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

ito yung evie as you can see may tab (cover, content, etc.) sa taas kaya madaling i browse

then i highlights niya yung current sentence na binabasa ng TTS, or i-isolate niya sa learn mode

cover

read
