What it says on the tin. Mumbo Jumbo, a MCYT guy with just under 9 million subs, has a video of him playing Minetest. He was impressed with the Mesecon mod! EDIT: changed to Invidious link, d'oh!

Someone should let him know about Mineclone2

I ran a server for me and my kids for a few years and Minetest/Mineclone2 are an awesome free alternative.

I just tried mineclone 2 and it seems slow. I am on a fast computer but it is running at 50-60 fps but with very inconsistent frame times. Is there a trick to getting it to run well?

Nvm. I tweaked some settings and it works now.
