Summary

A grenade attack at a crowded bar in Grenoble, France, injured 12 people on Wednesday, with six in critical condition.

The attacker, who carried but did not use a Kalashnikov-style rifle, fled the scene.

Authorities do not believe the attack was terrorism-related, but the motive remains unknown.

Local officials, including Mayor Eric Piolle, condemned the “extraordinary violence.”

That's pretty wild that no one was dead from it. Grenades have a pretty large kill radius.

That could still change, a number of the victims might still die from their wounds unfortunately
