I want to but I think the Thunder filter feature is a bit aggressive. I blocked the word "US" but I realized a long while later that it was also blocking all links to my instance sh.itjust.works. I'm afraid I'll lose all titles with "yesterday" or "yes".

I’m working on my own lemmy app. It would be cool to have settings for your filters like containers, starts with, ends with, word, part of word. But I also need to strike a balance between average users and power users. Maybe an advanced filter setting would be cool.

Can't you filter " Ye " or something like that?

I would assume that the filters are case insensitive and filter whitespace but I don't know for sure. I should test some stuff out.

"contains" filters are so fickle. They are the filters you want to use the most but they are very unreliable
