That’s a little worrisome as someone trying to transition from 18 years of iOS to GrapheneOS. It may not mean anything in terms of the phone’s continuation, though.
I can't see Google abandoning Android, but they might kill Pixel.
Maybe I should hitch my horse to something based on OpenHarmony.
If you can get by with the apps available for it then could work. I use LineageOS on my phone and it works pretty well.
