It's a start. And still a doorway into the fediverse. The average person doesn't care about reddit Lemmy or mbin. They care about Instagram pixelfed and twitter mastodon bluesky.
They will quickly find bluesky enshitifying out of necessity. And the fediverse will be there to catch them.
