This comes off as so unhinged. They didn't say a general statement like "both parties are the same". Obviously they're not, though much of the time their goals do align in some way. They said something specific, and true. This reactive need to defend the Democratic Party is ridiculous to me, they have enabled and voted for many bad and harmful things, they often do not understand or represent the interests of their constituents, they have plenty of money, they do not need you to stand in front of imaginary bullets for them. The way left is not through the Democratic Party. I know we don't have a good option yet but I can tell people are ready for it.

Unhinged is not the same thing as "thing you disagree with".

Choosing nothing instead of the lesser of two evils is childish. Grow the fuck up. If you're so superior why don't I see your party on the ballot? All you do is complain and get left behind. Win a fucking election, then you can talk shit.
