I was intrigued by the concept, but then I noticed that many of the assets and gameplay mechanics look identical to Havendock, a unique and enjoyable game, but one that has been stuck in EA and hasn't seen updates in a year. Havendock is developed by YYZ, while Stormbridge is being developed by YYZ studio.
Seems strange to release a new game (with same assets and similar gameplay implementation) while your original game seems to be stuck in EA.
That's enough to put me off it. It's quite a common routine - get something out enough until the engagement falls off, then produce another game that's similar (So you can use the same underlying engine) but different enough, maybe slightly change the name of the studio enough so that it still matches the actual underlying company but isn't initially obvious, and then release a new one. Some scummy companies go through three or four cycles before disbanding a company and setting up afresh....
I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, just because Havendock was unique and has it's own style and gameplay, but it would be good to get some clarification from the developer.
