...and 100 times as many GPUs as gamers!
Being a PC gamer in 2024 kind of sucks when it takes 24gb of video RAM to run a video game and yet all the cards are being bought by institutional investors for AI.
It hasn’t been difficult to get a GPU as a gamer for a few years now. What are you taking about?
Also, what games are really maxing out the ram? My impression is that most modern GPUs are overkill in this pretty stagnant video game market.
For the record, these aren't consumer GPUs. They're a completely different beast, designed specifically for running transformer models and costing up to $70,000 each.
Yeah that's what I use for running modded Minecraft.
Your must get, like, 10fps on a rig like that.
