STOP CALLING THEM ELITE.
The word 'elite' implies they are societies best. These rich dregs keep dragging us down.
Whenever I hear the rich described as "the elite", my brain immediately converted it to ThE eLiTe
My brain converts it to lowers. Their only advantage is their ability to screw people over without it affecting their personal health. Whereas the rest of us would lose sleep being that much a evil shithead.
Meh, the connotation is still clear.
How about we just airquote them? The „Elite“ sounds condescending enough imo

Elite in this case refers to the ability to exert power and privledge. Everyone who is in a society does so to some level. (Obviously much less)
It is not a term of adoration.
