Thought it's just FM on the 2m
Nope, I believe 144.000 is 2m sideband.
Edit: Don't take my word for that though. It's been quite a while since I've been on two meters frequently. But I do know there is a portion on two meters for sideband.
Edit 2: Actually, I want to say it's 144.200.
144.100 - 144.275 MHz. Calling frequency is 144.200.
2M sideband and VHF DX is a lot of fun. I remember working satellites using 2M/70CM sideband as well.
