also when i said that comparing queer attraction to pedophilia is bad i wasn't saying the attraction was bad (it is, don't get me wrong), i was saying the comparison itself is bad.
if you have somehow managed to avoid the last half decade of politics– in which case tell me who your geosomnologist is cos i want some of that– the global right-wing has been calling LGBT folks groomers for a while now. so if you make such a comparison yourself not only are you signaling to us that you're one of them, you're also signaling it to them too.
