The man couldn't even focus his energies on one single debate. There's no way he could do a lengthy campaign that involves travel and focusing for hours and days and weeks on end. He knows that, we all know that, and it doesn't affect anything in a bad way.

If he can hold it together and make okay decisions for the next few months, and then retire, everyone will be happy.

It does impact voters in that Biden waited until the 11th hour to realize he's way too old, so then NO alternatives could even be considered.
