The show doesn’t hold a candle against the original trilogy but as someone who thought season 1 was largely a 💩, I thought season 2 was more enjoyable. If season 1 got an F from me, I’d give season 2 a C+. The Dwarf scenes remain the better ones for me. I genuinely enjoyed many parts of season 2, but it still suffers from some plot holes and skips, poor dialogue and many characters that I just can’t seem to care for despite the stakes.
I’ll watch season 3 and hope the show can make another quality jump but I’d much rather watch the original trilogy or read the books. If others are enjoying the show, I’m happy for them. It is still just somewhat meh for me. Hopefully we get some good 🧙♂️action in a third season.
