The National Association of Travel Agencies (ANAV) has commended a recent decision by the Judicial Court of the District of Braga, Portugal, which ruled against Ryanair for charging passengers additional fees for carrying cabin bags. Yeah, I love being able to save money by only taking my backpack. There's not room for everyone to use the overhead lockers so it makes sense for those of us who don't need to to save money.

This isn't a law to protect consumers it's to protect the air travel market from budget suppliers offering people the services they actually want.
