If you have an instant pot or pressure cooker, I highly recommend the book Indian instant pot by Urvashi Pitre. The Korma and the aloo ghobi were both great to eat. (Some day I'll make more from the book)

Edit: shit, politics sub, uh, remember to vote!

Nothing against Indian curry, but my JAM is Massaman Curry (or Mussaman Curry depending on the restaurant).

That sounds delicious. A ba'hai family I knew turned me on to Persian dry rub, I enjoy it on lamb, especially.

Politics, um they disgust me.

Ba'hai know how to cook... ditto Sikhs. But I give the edge to Sikhs for their fabulous turbans and mustaches. ;)

It blows my mind Nikki Haley hails from Sikh family.

Related: Decades ago this white American lived in Crawley, England. I used to eat at this place called MurrayCurrays in downtown Crawley (they retired and closed a decade ago) where a Sikh man and an Italian British woman ran one of the best tasting crossover menus I had ever seen. Stuff like:

  • Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza
  • Lamb and Chicken Tinga Calzone
  • Italian Sausage Dum Biryani

Some ideas for you to consider along with remembering to vote!

I'm looking for a good Thai curry book, though that's harder, three people, three different curries. I let the wife and kid work on the fresh rolls and Rangoon.

(I assumed indian food from the naan)

One of my favorites too!! I often get that when i hit the local Thai spots.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago

Can you send an order to my house, please?

I love naan, especially garlic naan.

On point, is Marge's mask slipping? Maybe she's not that nuts and is tired of playing a role. Was she one of the politicians that was a client of an actors ' agency? Can't remember.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago

Oh no, she's full on.

An Indian place near me makes a chana saag that is amazing. Garlic naan and some of that and it's a good night.

Guess I know what's for dinner tomorrow.
