I think the 5900HX should be about equivalent to your 6900HX.
Laptop cpus have come a long way from the Intel CPUs in 2020.
Amd cpus are a lot easier to find nowadays. The framework 13 amd is a really nice lightweight laptop that scores well here with its 7840u.
Tho i like repairability, I'm afraid the framework looks too expensive compared to hardware specs, can't get that passed the boss probably. Looking for a 15-16" screen.
