Put it in the microwave and then take it out when it starts popping slowly. I've never met anyone else that does that for microwave popcorn and it works perfectly fine.

That's literally what the instructions say but for some reason when we crave popcorn our brains turn off.

I've never had a microwave or a bag of popcorn for which 2min was the wrong answer
