Other lemmy.tf admin here! We're currently on the Docker-compose deployment from the repo, on a VM on one of my VMware nodes. 4c/8gb ram/256gb disk at the moment, with plenty of room to grow in the short term.

I am hoping our instance picks up enough users to force me into migrating to a Helm chart or writing a k8s operator for Lemmy... it would certainly help address the scaling problems that larger instances are starting to run into.

If you want to deploy on Unraid, you'd probably want to see if you can install docker-compose on there. Otherwise you'll have to rip the docker-compose.yml apart and spin up a pod at a time in your Unraid gui (and hope you can get buy without the Docker networks the compose deploy creates).
