Absolutely wild that the doors just can't idk be opened
No physical key lock on outside is a major design flaw.
Even our newest cars with distance-sensing remotes have one door with a key lock, which I check occasionally to make sure it works.
Safety and practicality aren't innovative.
They can. The owner of the vehicle should have read its manual before they used it.
How?
You got me. I expected tesla user guide
Maybe you should read the owner manual or even the article that you are commenting on. The doors can be manually opened but ONLY from the inside of the car. Not something you can expect a 20 month old child to have the capability to operate while being strapped into their car seat.
