This is from a video game, right? (Portal 2? I definitely remember the scene but can't place the game because...)
Shit looks exactly like the room my mom had when she was in physical therapy. It even has the track for the privacy curtain (though there is no privacy curtain).
Do I only remember it because of that or did I play the game this is from ๐ค
That track is usually for hoists to transport immobile patients from the bed and over to a wheelchair

It is from Portal 2, and funnily enough, the room's purpose is to keep you physically healthy.
They have thousands of these rooms where the test subjects are kept in stasis until they're needed for testing. They're periodically woken up for physical and mental stimulation and then put back into stasis.
