I love OpenTTD, came here looking for it.

For the uninitiated, it's a reimplementation of Chris Sawyer's Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Build a transportation empire of trains, lorrys ships and planes.

There's also a modern spiritual successor in Transport Fever (commercial, not open source)
