So I currently have a 2080, I want to upgrade to the new 5070 ti but with the leaks right now it just seems overpriced, and I was thinking maybe to wait for the 9070 xt release but the problem is leaks say that the 9070 xt will require 900w+ psu and I got a good a tier 850w psu which would be enough for the 5070 ti. So the question is what to do just get the 5070ti or if the leaks are true and 9070xt will be better for the same price get the 9070xt and also upgrade my psu? I mean it just bring the 9070xt to the point where it is not worth it I think but I am not sure.

I am thinking of using a team group MP44Q 1TB NVME but see that it’s a QLC type. It has around a 600 TBW and I’m not really doing intensive writing to it, just normal gaming use (valorant, monster hunter, civ) and general coding personal projects (nothing too large, and if I have enough discipline to complete it lol). Would this be fine to have a windows OS on it and use it as my main drive? I’m a little confused as it does have a 600tbw rating so in theory it should last a while and I don’t think I would be downloading 100gb everyday, I would probably just install my games/software once and that’s it. Since I won’t be regularly writing to it often, would the write speed degrade that much either?

So, the USB dongle for my Corsair HS60 headset went out according to the forums. The headset is still good and I can plug it into the headphone jack for audio, but I don't have a mic then. Is there any "good" USB A to headphone adapters? Or are they all the same? Or should I just get an adapter that splits the headphone plug so I can plug into the mic and headphone jack? I read that you will lose surround sound features which I'm not even sure if I have that.

Hey All, recently I was forced to switch from a desktop for work to a laptop and I’m trying to understand how to keep my current set up with minimal cord unplugging and plugging back in. My current set up is a desktop with 4 monitors, microphone, and a headset, which I use for gaming. Typically I remote in on one screen, and use teams on a side screen. With the laptop I will not be able to remote in.

Looking online it sounds like a KVM would be able solve a lot of the problems, but the main issue is 1. The refresh rate being 60hz with a handful to 144hz. 2. The amount monitor slots to plug into a KVM switch. 3. The price for something to make it all work.

Looking into the USB/HDMI switch, the audio/mic seems to be hard to configure which only being able to use it from my desktop.

Additionally a coworker mentioned that a docking station for the laptop wasn’t an option and that the monitor was actually needed to do that. This option I haven’t researched into.

Any help would be appreciated as I’m needing to turn in my work desktop in this week.
