hey yall, i download a lot of youtube videos to use as diy podcast episodes, and used ytmate, ytmp3, and a few others in the past, but none of them are working for me now.

specifically i download LONG videos, 1hr+, and that seems to be the main issue. if you have any recs for sites that work on ios, it'd be much appreciated, but if i can't find anything i'll just switch to my pc and download them manually via google drive or something. thanks!!

is it enought to protect the user from the isp monitoring their traffic? I'm referring to hiding your ip from the websites someone visits but only protecting you from your isp for torrent reasons etc.

I thought that by now as a grown a** adult I wouldn’t need to pirate movies anymore.

I literally have 4 different subscriptions, Hulu, Max, Disney+, and YT premium, yet consistently am unable to find older popular movies that frankly should just be free at this point given their age.

Recently I wanted to watch the movie Superbad cause I’ve never actually seen it and saw a couple funny interview reels from the cast, so I Google “Superbad where to watch” and the first thing I read is that it is available on Max via the AI overview. Great. Hop on over to max, aaaaaand it’s gone.

So I go to the Google “where to watch Tab”, Max no where on it? Okay. It says it’s on Hulu. Great, I’ll go over there. ITS NOT THERE.

WTF.

This movie is literally almost 20 years old. I’m not going to sign up for 10 free trials just to find out it isn’t actually on any of those either. As said before, piracy is a service problem. I don’t want to go on shady websites and click through a million links and ads to watch a movie. I want to just watch it and am willing to pay for it. But this sh*T is getting ridiculous .

I wish we just had a Steam for movies and TV, instead of 900 splintered subscription services all buying selling and trading licenses for media every 2 weeks.

Hi all you degenerate fellow pirates, im finally in a position where i can actually contribute not only with seeding (as ive being doing for over 15years now) but to actually buy media and share it, there is a lot of media that i cant find anywhere (specially if i want in my native language) so i wanted to know, how do someone do it? for example lets say a movie, that was released in any streaming platform, how do you download that and make sure you have multi-language for example?

i know that in paramout+ it download pieces of it i see multiple requests being made in the devtools such as blobs, events, and this one

And what about Bluray, is it easy to copy from it just as it was on dvd back in the days? do i just need a bluray disc reader/writter? and how to turn the copy into a mkv file without the menu and stuff like this?

if someone could at least point me in the right direction on how to properly search for these kind of informations...i know that there is probably some keywords that will open my searches up but i completely oblivious right now
