I want to tell that recently Microsoft change their Office Product name to Office 365. They also add some ai stuff. For these they also increase their Office Product Prices. So I do not understand who tell Microsoft to do this.

I used to use Libgen but that is not working for me.

I’m on a Kindle and every time I try and download from Anna’s Archive I get an error saying that tue ebook must be in a certain format (e.g. mobi, azw), even if the file is that format.

Any guidance? Do I need to create an account and stop using the slow download? Or is it something simpler than that?

I found a new reverse-engineering video game forum called https://reshax.com/ . I've never heard of those reverse-engineering forums after they shut down XeNTaX, and I'm wondering if it's here.

Hi all, I apologize in advance if this is a common question or is out of touch, I can be a bit out of the loop at times.

I just so happen to have a physical, bare metal server with a good chunk of redundant, reasonably fast storage (40TiB).

I don't throw a whole lot of strain at the system as-is, and want to donate to the cause, since I've leeched so much in the past and want to give back to the community. on a rough guess, I could probably chip in around 15 TB of that storage with more coming later, and optimistically, 100Mbit+ of uplink bandwidth once I can get my hands on a better connection.

What should I start downloading and seeding as a good starter point? I know I could seed just the popular stuff e.g. YIFY but those already have lots of seeders in many cases, and I would prefer to host higher-quality (larger) files that are in high demand and need fast, reliable seeders as opposed to lots of low bitrate stuff that is already widely seeded and hosted.

Where should I look for content that's strapped for consistent, high-uptime, fast seeders?

Whenever I pirate any executable , I run it in Sandbox (Sandboxie Plus specifically)

But recently I came to know that some malwares can detect if they are run in VM/Sandbox and may NOT do its deed . And when its run outside of it, it will infect the system.

Unless I want to run the executable in Sandbox forever (which is rarely the case), whats the point of running the.exe it in a VM/Sandbox ?

So I am solely dependent on the reputation of the source and may be analysis of its virustotal results

Is there any solution to know its true nature by running it in safe environment and making sure it shows its true nature without detecting where it is run ??

I used to know my way around Napster and limewire but it's been a while. Just re learning the ropes and could use some assistance.

I have several torrents qeued up in qbittorrent. I got them from 1337 and everything went fine but they all have stayed at 0% download and the status has remained stalled.

The Weekly General Discussion Thread is for the r/Piracy community to discuss whatever is on their mind, whether it is related to digital piracy or not.

🪶 ➜ Follow the Rules

  • Rules are still applicable, so please do not request specific pirated content (ie. specific movie, book, etc.) and definitely don't link to any. Do not mention specific media names asking for help in finding them.

📜 ➜ Wiki + Megathread

  • Don't forget to browse the Wiki, which contains a Megathread with a list of sites/apps, tools, FAQ, and other useful resources.
  • Your question also may have been asked previously - you can search the subreddit via the search bar or even google - example: https://i.imgur.com/1jA767u.jpg

Trying to find pirated content on languages other than english is a pretty hard thing to do. Recently a lot of platforms in LatinAmerica have begun to remove a lot of movies and TV shows that I'd like to watch in LatinAmerican spanish.

Mostly for nostalgia sake, but still.

And trying to find a version that includes other languages other than English and maybe French, it's next to impossible.

Especially for cartoons from the 90's like Recess or Johnny Bravo Season 1.

More recently I've been trying to find Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5 in Italian because, well, it takes place in Italy.

And nothing on the sort.

My only solution and option right now would be to bite the bullet, purchase those things here (or purchased pirated DVDs) rip them and upload them. Which would be fine as soon as I have a decent PC.

To those that pirate stuff outside of the US or on other languages, what's your coping mechanism lol

Hey Reddit, I've got a debrid account and I'm looking to make the most out of it. I know there are a bunch of services out there that can utilize a debrid for streaming or downloading, but I'm not sure which ones are the best, especially the free ones.

I'm looking for something that's easy to use, reliable, and preferably supports a wide range of content. Any recommendations on which free services work well with debrid accounts?

Also, if you have any tips on how to get the most out of my debrid subscription, that would be awesome!

Thanks in advance for the help! 😊

I'm looking for an Android app that can do TV shows picture-in-picture, like a regular streaming app. Anyone know of anything?

Its safe to say I'm talking about free servers, so that means It doesnt matter for me if they're slow, ad-filled or just not that good, the only thing I need is for them to be free to host, and work with cracked, non-official minecraft java.

If anyone can provide me with any server-hosting websites that would let me do it, i'll be very thankful!

Hello, fellow sailors!

I’ll be moving to the UK later this year and I’m wondering what extra precautions I’ll have to be taking with piracy once I’m there. Having grown up in Russia, I’m used to raw-dogging piracy sites and torrenting without any concern of being detected by the government. Only ever needed a VPN to access blocked content here. I know the UK will be a different experience, though, so I’m looking for advice.

As far as torrenting goes, I am aware that in a country like the UK you can get in trouble for doing that if you are caught, so I’ll probably need a VPN. But I’m wondering if the same applies to streaming? It doesn’t feel like as big of a deal as torrenting, but who knows. Is it safe to go on streaming websites without a VPN?

Also, since I’m a student I’ll be living in a dorm and I suppose I’ll have to be using my uni’s hotspot. Any way I can get in trouble if I pirate something while on it?

Other tips for pirating safely in the UK are also appreciated.

I've been looking for some way that allows me to download Spotify playlists on PC without any payment or that free trial BS. the closest I got to achieve that level was a Telegram bot called DeezLoad but it takes a lot of time and it's not really direct. does anyone know a software or a website that gets the job done?

I used to pirate everything, long ago. I used Napster as a boy, wrecked my family PC with Limewire when Napster came down, and later Torrent (never had a VPN) and ultimately Usenet. I was a member of a Usenet tracking website where I paid like $5/mo for and another $5ish/mo for Usenet itself. I forget the specifics, but I had a script called Couch Potato that I got from GitHub, that I typed in the shows and it would automatically download the shows and the art for them and feed them into a modded version of XBMC (a media player).

Now I have grown up money, so I will even be able to make a dedicated media PC.

Is this still The Way? Does Usenet piracy still work? Is it even still possible to gain membership to a private tracker? (They were sketchy about admission even a decade ago, to keep the law out. Are they totally closed ecosystems now?)

If this is not The Way, what is The Way?

The title pretty much explains it. I am 22M and I live alone and I have torrented many movies on my Mac, stored them in external SSDs and I know the existence of media servers like Plex and jellyfin but I think the laptop+HDMI combo is pretty much enough for me. Is upgrading to Plex worth it?
