Here's another organ piece I wrote, I'd love feedback if you have any

An awesome composition integrating the organ. One of the only mainstream uses of organ recently I can think of. It really gives an interesting sound to the music, kind of steadfast and continuing. It fits well with the semi minimalism used as well.

An introduction for the hymn Wake, Awake, for Night is Flying for a friend's wedding

This piece a reputation for blowing out some older organs, since it plays most every note and pipe at once. I think it has a really interesting living breathing motion

I've played it a few times (I'm a percussionist), and I just love it. I have a few recordings, and my favorite is definitely not this P. Jarvi recording, (I can't remember my favorite, I'll have to look it up when I get home.) But any version is still awesome!~

How did organs play pipes from the keyboard before electricity and pneumatic action? With linkages and direct connections to the pipes! (Many still use trackers for their superior feel and tactile feedback from the pipes)

I really liked the analysis and depth Sideways went into on this subject! Really did a lot of heavy lifting about why we think of certain sounds the way we do

I'm blown away by the ingenuity and creativity shown in this improvisation! Absolutely one of my favorite hymn-based songs

A prelude based on a hymn tune (Lord, Revive Us) for church
