All the news recently coming out of my home country, the US, has reminded me of my favorite court proceedings in anime. We find out in the opening episode of season 2 that all of the creepy things Kazuma has done over the previous season actually have consequences. Also, that the judicial system in this fantasy world does not have the same ideas around due process as what he might be familiar with.

Going back to season 2 to create this clip made me wonder if we are going to see Sena again. I actually liked her character a lot. She served the role of being the thing to motivate the group to go out and do things rather than lounge under a kotatsu forever.

At least in the most recent, currently airing season, Kazuma has learned to wear a mask at least some of the times he is doing something legally dubious.

This adaptation of Edelweiss's rice-farming RPG and simulation game is being made by P.A. WORKS and will broadcast in Japan starting July 6th.

No release data/visual/PV yet. There is more info going to be released during a panel at Anime Expo on July 4th.

If you are unfamiliar with the first movie, from the article:

Warner Bros. released the Batman Ninja anime film digitally in April 2018, and on home video in May 2018. The release included the Japanese audio track as well as the English dub. The anime debuted in Japanese theaters in June 2018 with the Japanese voice cast. The film aired on Toonami in October 2021.

In Batman Ninja, Batman travels back to Japan's Warring States period and defeats villains such as The Joker, who have become feudal lords.
