It's perfectly fine to use both platforms and still enjoy the niche subs on Reddit. It's a shame they're not all in one app/website but it is what it is.

Super opinionated people who are completely blind to the thing they're discussings shortfalls.

It would be one of the greatest redistributions of wealth ever, sadly.

Sure Elon, I can provide this service to you for just $8/month. It's great value honestly, I have expenses to continue to run my life and just $8 will happily contribute towards that.

Okay well the fix costs thousands of dollars, takes time and can be unfun if they have to start slicing into your eyeballs, but good luck.

This is how you end up with astigmatism. Don't rub your eyes like this.

Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) chief executive, Andrew McKellar, slammed the move...

It's being "slammed" by one of the peak business lobbyist bodies in Australia, which is unsurprising in the least.

The context of this and politics in Australia is that it's dominated by two main factions:

  • LNP who believes in unchecked free market capitalism (except when it's inconvenience to them or their mates which is most of the time), whom the ACCI support, and
  • Labor, which is mostly controlled by unions and is currently in power federally and in most states.

Controversially however, Labor have embraced more centralist/conservative ideals lately which is why despite unions being in control the country isn't seeing a massive swing towards left-sided politics.

Dunno how much I trust that website anyway. Firefox has a setting to force HTTPS mode for instance but that's not reflected in the lists on that page.
