I "discovered" caffeine the summer between 7th and 8th grade. Vanilla lattes changed everything. In high school they sold us sodas and snacks between classes. By 9th grade, I couldn't stay awake through 2nd period (geometry) without drinking a 20 oz. Mt. Dew before class. When I realized what was happening I stopped drinking Mt. Dew. It was a rough couple of weeks. It was my first experience with drug dependence. Informed my approach to drugs for the rest of my life. I got lucky, I suppose.

And it wouldn't matter if they did. Such contracts are not legal in the US. In fact, employers can be fined simply for requesting an employee sign a contract that restricts their right to discuss salary.

Doesn't look like it. It's not in my list of blocks. I can navigate to the community, but none of the posts are shown. It's just an empty feed.

This seems to be random. These are communities on the instance I'm logged into. AFAICT I'm not being blocked in these communities. I'm not even sure if mods *can *block someone from seeing a community. I'm guessing this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a thread on it.

[Meta] Did we drop the "what are you playing" monthly thread? Also, mods haven't been active for a while, should someone take over? in c/patientgamers

I didn't know DayZ had PvE servers. I like to watch DayZ streamers sometimes, but I could never play it PvP. That kind of thing is too stressful for me. I might have to check out PvE.

What can I do about seasonal sinus infections? (lemmyf.uk)

In the winter, I spend more time with sinus infections than without. I feel like I've tried everything, but relief is temporary at best.

edit: Thanks for the tips everyone. Upvotes all around! Some of these suggestions I've tried, others are new to me. I'm going to give them all a shot. Looking forward to breathing again!
