@aeronmelon, I demand more of this, or the horned dog in the carpet goes back into the transporter!

RGS taught me everything I need to know about Canada, marriage, tinkering with explosives and friendship.

This, THIS is the type of fan creation that could save the Internets. So sick of harry potter fanfic and all anime, let's pump up RED GREEN, the lodge and HAROLD. yasss

Ok, that's what I was hoping to hear from you. Post stays, we good. Basement dwellers and WWII obsessors are always welcome here, but fuck time traveling Nazis. "Iron Sky" was fun, but before reading the context you provided, your post gave me da hibbity jibbities. Thank you to all the morons and moronettes who expressed their concerns. Let's always have a dialogue, not a monologue, this isn't hexbear, lemmy.ml or lemmygrad. THIS IS NCD. OUT.

Wow, I had to go back and review before I noticed all the changes. Flashback to Highlights magazine, 1990.

u/slaacaa, I don't know what your intention is in posting this...creative writing.... exercise, but this isn't a community for posting fanfiction or historical fiction. You seem new to commenting at NCD, so I'd like to give you, @[email protected] a moment to explain your point of view before taking any action as a mod. Could you add some context, is your post/story intended to be irony? Please respond publicly in this thread by tonight, that is 8-17. Thank you.

So what the heckin heck, my delegates? Any chance at all that this catering company owner recorded while NOT having his hand pressed to the flattop in his own kitchen? He says he's alive, his friends say he's alive, the Geiger counter taped to his head is overclocking.

Prighozin tries to show proof of life with an audio-only message. He's never heard of deepfakes, he's just the caterer.

Simple, clean doomsday clock for Reddit, so we can grieve. Farewell, opening share price. Farewell, venture capitalists. Farewell, Huffman's hopes to run his own North Korea. Why the pic? Because sometimes rotting squirrel is all there is to eat and we've got to make the best of it. The squirrel is Reddit and the turtle is us. Artist Credit: @relected

The morale on the front line has never been higher.

How do you properly conjugate "Reddit" in Latin? First, you need to know if the proper noun, "Reddit", is male or female and base the conjugation of the verbs in the sentence on its gender , just as in Spanish or French. Reddito? As in "Carthago Delenda Est"? At first, it seemed easy to just use "Reddito", since Carthage was a city and Reddit is a community of sorts. The I realized that Reddit is no longer a community, but a hostage situation. What gender to use, then? Surely the ancient Near Eastern peoples had camps where they held captives or hostages during negotiations. Hostage trading was big business for them. My father in law is a retired Latin teacher, maybe he can help me parse this out.

Rate Limit Exceeded errors have become my new best friend on Jerboa. I finally looked up the bleedin' definition. Guides.cryptowat.ch Provides an explanation and advice here that any normies can understand. This article helped me make peace with my constant RLEs! Eye-opening article from Wired's Cory Doctorow on how Amazon pushed competitors out of the market and forced sellers to sell with them, all WITHOUT violating anti-trust laws. Amazon is a perfect example of subtle "enshittification".

Did I mention that AMZN is a big-time corporate supporter of Planned Parenthood? Supporting Planned Parenthood, which is just another corporation that happens to sell human body parts along with its many other revenue streams, is just one of the ways that AMZN corners the market, concentrating their customer pool over time and ensuring that YOUR money doesn't go to your children or your chosen charities through tangible and intangible inheritance, but straight into their corporate pockets, where it will never come back to communities, charities and families. Families are not their most valuable profit centers. Single, desperately lonely 40 year olds living in condos are. It's in their best interest to keep you buying at the store of everything, distracted, frightened and compliant. It's hard to break away from their tentacles, but this year of our Lord 2023, let's promise our loved ones that we will work a little bit harder to find funny socks or a baby shower gift. We can all do better, because Doctorow's piece about what Amazon has become sounds like an analysis of an abusive relationship.
