I bought a steam deck and have been checking every day waiting for it to arrive... Or even be shipped! They finally packaged the damn thing!
Windows 10. I've since moved on to 11 but haven't tried it since then.
I am also interested in the Lemmy opinion of windscribe. My wife really likes them but their app used to brick my computer requiring a hard reset so I don't use them.
I think the part that always pissed me off more is that it doesn't really matter where it came from! No one is really trying to let out a virus to ravage the planet... Unless they're a bond villain.
We need to figure out where it came from because it's important to prevent it happening in the future but politicizing it was always pretty fixing stupid.
What is more important is we have a new virus that is brutal and we need to stop or show its spread. My parents were on the Fox News bandwagon and would always tell me that I believe they're crazy for thinking it came from China. I tried so many times to explain to them, it doesn't matter where it came from, it's out, in the global population, and we need to try to mitigate and prevent damage.
Honestly I love my tablet for reading manga. I know that as a kid I would have found a way to use it for other things but I think I would consider it for my kid for reading manga and comics. Maybe some type of e ink device....
They threaten to do this every time... And so like whatever, there are other news aggregators.
According to police, they received a report at around 9:25 a.m. that a 59-year-old man was riding his bike northbound on Bayview Avenue, near the Don Valley Parkway off ramp, when he collided with a vehicle.
Yep, great writing Toronto Star! Clearly Vlad hit that poor car of his own volition!
Don't worry, I've got you covered!
I'm an American but the $1 burgers from Maccas were a life saver down there. I used to get 2 a day while I hitchhiked. But y'all also have canned tuna with some great flavors!
I was told going down there that it was outrageously expensive. And I found that true when talking about non-essentials, headphones and quality clothes. But groceries were shockingly cheap the entire time I was down there. I could spend $30 on a burger and fries, or I could get a weeks worth of food from woolies or coles.
Even better, the corner store, the gas station really, was owned by coles and I could get milk and eggs (things I want fresh, in small batches) and a small selection of anything else I wanted for the exact same price as the larger stores! This freed me up to get veggies and fruit at the market and always have enough food unlike at home.
While in Australia, I had higher quality food for less money with more convenience. All while getting told by people back home how expensive it was when they visited. Maybe I had a different experience since I went for a year but I live in Seattle now and I miss having a corner store within a 5 minute walk that sold all my essentials.
Also Woolies has their mini stores in the big cities and those things are fire.
Pretty sure it's when you get so stoned you can barely walk and everything is spinning and you're sure that the weed is actively punching you but you're not sure where. Then you sit/stand in front of a cash register and interact with people while time blurs around you and you are no longer sure if there are customers and maybe you've really just been pushing money off the counter for 3 hours and wow I think I made it to work on time.
You would think that but you underestimate how much the system likes to punish those who labor for it.
