First, thank you for building this wonderful app.
This is my favorite feature of the app: the ability to return to the previous post by swiping from right to left.
With the latest TestFlight version, I noticed a new bug: the text size on the returning post is set to the system size, and once complete open, switches to the user’s choice of text size. The result is a little jarring.
To replicate, set the text time to something other than the system size. View a post, go back. And then swipe across to return to the post. You should be able to see the effect.
All airplanes are still using leaded fuels
Jet fuel doesn’t contain lead. Only the avgas used by smaller planes with piston engines.
Still, it’s unbelievable that this fuel is still being used in 2024!
tatemae is the romanisation. It is your public attitude, which may be different to your real attitude (hon’ne).
I’m a permanent resident of Japan and am raising a family here. I think you would get better responses if you posed more specific questions, or provided examples of what kind of misunderstandings people have experienced and posted about online.
I find Japan a pleasant place to live, but it is far from perfect, just like any society. The cost of living is quite reasonable compared to many other countries, which makes the lower salaries go further.
People are generally friendly, but you sometimes have to read between the lines, as people tend to be less direct so as to avoid confrontation (“It is a little difficult” is a polite way to say “No!” for example).

Where I live,the majority of exhaust vents are placed on exterior walls. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for you. Just be sure to have some kind of weather guard on there to stop rain getting in (basically, the slats on the vent cover should point downwards).

The schools where I live in Japan have already implemented this to some extent. The uniforms are not labeled by gender, and students are free to choose whichever one they feel comfortable wearing.
It is surprising to realise that this is not more common. In Japan, basically every home and apartment comes with rooftop antennas and coaxial connections in multiple rooms. No need to pay for cable TV (BS and CS) unless you want to get more channels.
Rental companies should try putting some stickers inside the vehicle which indicate where the manual door release is. It wouldn’t cost much and would at least save people unfamiliar with Teslas from getting trapped like this.
