He's in a catch-22. He needs to be believably Anti Trump to gain enough seats to win, but doing so would lose him his base. So he keeps repeating what he's been saying for the last 2 years, i.e. bitching about a PM who's not even there anymore.

Stupid people with no self reflection often feel threatened by smart people with integrity. This is why Trump talked shit about Biden, Fauci, Jack Smith and now Krebs. The only smart people he allows around him are suckers with no morals.
Seriously though, what's the move if the president ignores the courts? A regular citizen would be arrested. Who could arrest the president? I suppose impeachment is how the constitution defines the process by which a president should be removed, but can cops arrest him? Like 50 guys from the FBI forcing their way in?
To be fair, a large majority of Americans didn't acknowledge the threat until very recently. In general, politicians do not go for bold moves unless they feel they have a large support from the population.
Never underestimate the destruction that stupid people in position of power can do.

As a Canadian, I can assure you the anti-american sentiment does not come from any rhetoric being pushed. The actions of trump and co are quite enough.
Sometimes, the simplest explanation is the truth. Things like this happen.
Why do you think an assassination is more probable than an accidental death for someone with a medical history? Is this based on facts, or is it just because it fits your narrative better? How many attorneys prosecuting Russians are there in the US right now? How many of them died at a young age in the last weeks?
Facts matter.
I don't think you can claim refugee status in Canada if you are an American citizen.
There is nothing, nothing in the US news cycle from the last 2 months that don't point to a totalitarian regime slowly infiltrating every aspect of civil society.
