Smaller models aren't as good as GPT

For the last few years I've been working as an hourly part time full stack software engineer remotely, but now that school is done, I'm switching to a full time role. What are some things to keep in mind?

When I was hourly, I knew when to start and stop working because I'd simply clock in and out, but with a salary, it feels less clearly defined. There's also "unlimited" PTO, but when is it acceptable to use it?

Correct if you select that option.

No, shouldn't be like that.

No, they don't touch your price. You will get grandfathered with the chance to upgrade to new plans for cheaper or free.

Doesn't look like it as of last year: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Get-Support/Call-Control/m-p/771729#M511754.

If you're on Google Pixel, you can enable screening and automatic blocking. On iPhone, there's Robokiller.

This is one of the better cellular deals I've seen in a while. It's very very close to American cell pricing. Activated two of my family members and we're saving $30 a month now.

If anyone wants an additional $10 off their bill, PM me for a referral code.

I think it's because of the hail. Huge pieces started flying at my windows

This is the first time I've received an emergency alert for one. Usually I just get weather alerts from my app...

I remember multiple years ago there was a tornado watch like this too. I believe a funnel formed downtown

It seems like the nightly fireworks have begun in my neighbourhood for Canada Day.

Happy Canada Day eh! 🇨🇦🍁

Very high levels of air pollution due to smoke from forest fires is expected through tonight and Friday and possibly through Saturday.

Smoke plumes from forest fires over northeastern Ontario and Quebec will move into the area today, resulting in deteriorated air quality. These conditions are expected to continue into Saturday.

Air quality and visibility due to wildfire smoke can fluctuate over short distances and can vary considerably from hour to hour.

For more details, please consult www.canada.ca/en/environment-climate-change/services/air-quality-health-index/wildfire-smoke.html.

Wildfire smoke can be harmful to everyone’s health even at low concentrations. Continue to take actions to protect your health and reduce exposure to smoke.

People with lung disease (such as asthma) or heart disease, older adults, children, pregnant people, and people who work outdoors are at higher risk of experiencing health effects caused by wildfire smoke.

Visit www.airhealth.ca for information on how to reduce your health risk and your personal contribution to pollution levels, as well as for current and forecast AQHI values.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.

I saw this card (https://www.scotiabank.com/ca/en/personal/credit-cards/visa/momentum-infinite-card.html) offered by Scotiabank that offers 10% cash back on purchases within the first 3 mo up to $2k, and 4% regularly on groceries and recurring payments. From first glance, it looks really good, but at the same time, there's a $120 annual fee. Although, the first year has no fee.

I wonder if I could use it for the first year and then close or downgrade it afterward. Would my credit score take a substantial hit?

What's your general opinion on cards with annual fees? What benefits would it need for you to consider one?
