I’m glad I’m not the only one who immediately hears that every time the word beaver pops up.

I did some FPGA programming in school, so I totally get it. The hardware is really amazing, but the janky proprietary development toolchains not so much. Plus, Verilog is kind of a pain in the ass.
FPGA mimics hardware 1:1 without overhead, which is why it works well. This is talking about software emulation, which has to use lots of shortcuts to make it fast enough (for most machines). The N64 has a weird architecture though that makes it difficult to find shortcuts that work well.
There isn’t actually a ton of translating going on with the Switch, as it’s basically just a computer (an ARM computer, but still). The N64 had a very different architecture that doesn’t work like modern computers do. On top of that, games on it relied on low level graphics code that makes it very difficult to cheat like other emulators do.
Just a heads up, the author of this article worked with maia crimew on it and then poorly presented the evidence in a right-wing paper with no credit. Here’s maia’s post with more solid evidence:
I think that 100% holds true for Johnson. The man is highly educated and well spoken, but acts ridiculous. As for Trump, I fully believe he’s just a useful idiot, as a lot of his blunders have been harmful to more than just his public image. He is also very ego driven and would probably present as more intelligent if he were capable of it, whereas Johnson never seemed to care much when he was ridiculed.
Creamer is actually non-dairy. Not that I’m advocating not cleaning it out of your cup, but an interesting tidbit nonetheless.
My workplace uses SharePoint and it makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Come to think of it, all the Microsoft Enterprise products have that effect on me.
None of them need to be paid off to do this. Trump is starting to back away from some promises because it threatened the money interests, and the true believers like Loomer are losing it cause they were so close to getting everything they wanted out of this administration. They still aren’t blaming Trump directly, but it won’t take long if he keeps siding with Elon.
That’s pretty much what Engels called it. He argued it was a step in dismantling capitalism, similar to Lenin.
State ownership of the productive forces is not the solution of the conflict, but it contains within itself the formal means, the key to the solution.
So sure, maybe they were socialist in intent, but vanguardism is really just state capitalism until power is decentralized.
It’s arguably not socialism without democracy in some form. If the people have no say, then it isn’t social ownership. Vanguardism can claim it’s a step towards socialism, but until power is decentralized somehow it’s just state capitalism.
Mostly because they haven’t learned shit. They still think they just needed more time or to change their advertising strategy. It’s infuriating. It’s not how the message was presented, it’s the damn message!
