This. You will need some way to push the caliper piston back. I'm not familiar with the way KIA does it (push back in or some sort of twist to push in) since different manufacturers do different things.

If it's simple push piston back in, It will help to unscrew the cap from the brake reservoir to prevent pressure from undoing it. Make sure you don't overflow the reservoir since brake fluid does nasty stuff to paint.

I like the fourth or the last one since it encourages all other error responses to follow a similar standard. That will allow the client to have a reusable error model and error checking.

I've had to use APIs where every response was 200 ok with json, 400 bad request with pain text that said unauthorized, or a 500 error that returned an HTML error page. The worst.

Try to wash your car once a week in winter to get the salt off. Might make it last longer. It will still rust out in the end though.

The advice about about antifreeze and windshield washer is on point though. I would also say that once I got winter tires, it's been very hard to go back to all seasons in winter. Good winter tires like Bridgestone blizzack just have so much grip.
