Great news, and desperately needed with property appraisals sky rocketing in the area. A total of 25% drop in the past four years. Hopefully some cities/schools follow suit.

Article also fails to mention Fairport, which already has a public utility. They tend to enjoy much better rates, in 2022 about 72% less than the state average.

Rochester is hardly right leaning. Republicans don't even bother running a candidate for mayor. The congressional District that encompasses it and includes many surrounding more conservative areas went 59-39 to democrats in the last election. Certainly some of the surrounding areas tilt conservative but not the city itself. The suburbs are kind of a case by case mix. There's 200,00 registered democrats in Monroe County vs 130,000 registered Republicans. I know party isn't the same as liberal or conservative, but calling Rochester right leaning is a huge stretch. Syracuse too.

To promote the pineapple version of their Kolsch I presume. Both are good I think, but I give the edge to the Ruby Red still.

I like the idea of more open world games, would still like the dungeons to be a bit stronger, though totk was an improvement. I think a return of the great sea is a natural extension and could give an opportunity for different powers that would be more helpful on the open ocean, kind of like how ascend was a natural complement of caves and the depths. I think keeping autobuild and ultrahand and extending it further to boats or maybe even airships in the endgame would be really neat. Could also see them building on time powers even more. Maybe a return to termina?

Oh no, global warming has struck. Fires start on a random third of all squares. The fire destroys all it touches. Any buried pawn land mines that touch fire detonate, creating a permanent gap in the game grid at their position.

Those are all great, Strange Bird brewery just down the street from ROC Brewing Co is one of my favorites as well. Genessee brew house is nice for the view of the waterfall alone.

Also plug for the Eastman house museum, part photography muesuem and part gilded age mansion and gardens.

There was like one guy who made a post there, and they and their community were banned quickly by the admin. As far as I'm aware only beehaw is defederated from them.

I've always been fond of Furoshiki. They have a lot of great stuff, but the ramen is my go-to.

I saw the same post the comment above is referring to and their description is accurate. And I also saw the offending post they put on beehaw. Some low effort troll homophobic thing. Their posts on both beehaw and sh.itjust.works were both quickly down voted and removed I think, because I couldn't find either again shortly after I first saw it.
