It’s called “snapdragon x elite”. I just assumed that meant it was their top of the line chip, but it will probably be priced similar to M3 Pro

It’s vaporware until a product that uses it is announced. Not to mention this article compares it to a base M3, when it should probably be compared to an M3 Max, which decimates it lol

Speed? sure. Just bring a water cooler and 300 watts of power.

Efficiency? Absolutely not.

Also, M3 Ultra will probably be a home run, so watch out intel

Supply and demand

Intel just shamelessly pushing desktop CPUs into laptops with 200 watt power consumption nowadays lol

The M3 has a slightly brighter display, much faster CPU, and debatably slower GPU depending on what tasks you are doing and whether the app has been optimized for the new architecture.

Aside from that, not much different.

I think it also has faster SSD speeds because there was a whole stir about that on M2 Pro

It’s just a good deal and maybe M3 air is around the corner or something

It seems like Apple just doesn’t listen about this. It’s my only issue with the keyboard

Siri has almost gotten me into car wrecks with how bad it is. I typically only use it while driving, and she can't even read me a basic answer to a question, instead saying "Here's some results from the web. Is this okay?"

Like no, I'm driving. Read the f'in results

It’s not even engineering. It’s a software lock. Absolute bonkers.

Screw intel as an owner of a 13700k

It’s generally expected that hardware/software companies support their past devices as long as their is no hardware limitation preventing them from doing so. (Especially in first few years)

The 14th gen offers 0 hardware improvements that would prevent this update from running on the 13th gen.

Not a single transistor has been added for this feature. It’s all in software.

They don’t get the Nvidia excuse of having to add literal new cores or a redesigned pipeline for a feature like Dlss 3.

It’s pure laziness and douchebaggery
