Not sure if I can be helpful but lately there are several manufacturing sectors trying to reduce their footprint in China and move to Vietnam or India, for a mix of reasons (rising labor cost in China, geopolitical tension implying potential supply chain disruption). The US promoting their relations with Vietnam means there will be trade deals (free trade maybe?) which will incentivize manufacturers to move their production there, potentially away from China.

It's almost as if we learned from history!
IMO her argument is that we need to rework the system, providing more people with better access to public transport so everyone can reduce their damage without needing to sacrifice their day to day function, so it's really irrelevant whether our damage is more or less in comparison to hers.
Not a personal solution but trains don't have tires, and busses probably consume less tires per person per km.
Probably through a mix of well trained AI and a good pinch of denial.
We are feces producing machines with a byproduct of work.
