I'm visiting extended family for the first time in a long time, and one of my nieces has reached the impressionable age where she keeps mimicking things that she sees me do. what's a really funny but fairly harmless thing I should teach her to do?

...an analysis conducted by Bellingcat using social media footage as well as a 3D model of the missile, all point to the munition being a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile. The analysis is in line with the view of experts, including Fabian Hoffman, a doctoral research fellow at the University of Oslo who specialises in missile technology.

in the article they've got a freeze-frame where you can clearly see the missile just before impact. https://lemm.ee/pictrs/image/f5d4b101-e1c3-450c-a30d-fcc75de1b62d.png

so it's not just a boost thing, but you guys are pretty knowledgeable about how Lemmy works. I'll put the link below, but sometimes there are posts like this where the image or link or whatever it is won't load it in boost. I tried copying the link and opening it in a browser, and it wouldn't load there either. people from the comments can obviously see it, any idea what's up?

I don't take stimulants that often, I've got a box of Bronkaid from 2017 that I just finished off.

for a little while, ephedrine was completely illegal, but by the time I got to college, it had been re-legalized but it could only be sold as an asthma/bronchitis remedy. it was controlled the same way as pseudoephedrine, except that it could not be sold as a single preparation, it had to have at least one other ingredient. BronkAid and Primatene Tablets were ephedrine, and guaifenesin. went to buy a new box today, and lo & behold, it's pure ephedrine!

I am happy about this, but can't seem to find when the change occurred. apparently the DEA is constantly screwing around with pseudoephedrine rules so the search results are pretty clogged up.

from the garbled results I'm getting, it looks like maybe ephedrine was Schedule V for a little while, and maybe now it isn't? I didn't even know there was a schedule v

I know there's been challenges about elected officials blocking people on social media, but I've got a local elected official who keeps claiming that he's been working on a particular safety issue for like 6 years now. attempting to follow up yet again, I got a response saying that if I continued contacting him, he was going to block my phone number.

we were discussing city business. nothing personal. florida, if it matters

I've got an empty lot that I need to properly mark as private property before an upcoming project, and I want to make sure my signage is legally enforceable.

from what I can read, it just says that the signs have to be 18x24, with the words no trespassing at least 2" tall, and the name of the owner or lessee clearly printed on it. but there should be more to it than that, right? I can't find a regulation for how many signs there has to be for a given size property. like I'm sure I can't just mark 10 acres with a single sign, right? when I lived up north, the law was something about you had to have a sign posted every so many feet around the entire perimeter but I can't find the Florida regulation on that.

I've always had social and general anxiety, but it's worries about finances that will turn it into something crippling.

I work on commission. there are days where the anxiety is beyond the tipping point where it's no longer a performance enhancer, but makes it difficult for me to do my job.

so today, I had one chance to make a sale. if I didn't make it, I was probably going to have to take klonopin through the weekend. but then I made the sale, and it hit harder than a fistful of Xanax

i fucking hate this world dude.

tl/dr: I would like an Android launcher that has an app search in the app tray, and the ability to see all of the apps in a folder regardless of number.

replacing Nova because it's been freezing more and more lately. Hyperion seems to meet most of my needs, but I can't figure out how to do an app search, even with the pro version, and it won't show me all of the apps that I have in a desktop folder if I have more than like five, and I need to be able to see them because I have ADHD.
