Ah yes I am pretty sure they are a ciliate of some kind, but I may be wrong. Identifying is so hard but so fun because then you can read up of the fella. We'll sometimes, sometime there is no info. I follow one of those medium guys in this video while much more zoomed in: https://youtu.be/2z2_Qvzrc98?si=48PnJ7nB1lTx9e43

Also I write all the music. I've been pumping out music at an insane pace for these and its been a really fun project. I feel myself learning lol.

I set it all as creative commons so that anyone could use any of the videos or music if they'd like.

Also, yeah I can totally put my microscope specs in the description and maybe a zoom multiplier in the corner of the video.

Thanks!! That makes a lot of sense. I'll totally add a description of where the sample is from. One of the most fun parts for me has been seeing how the world around me just has a lot more going on and it's all been right here. Makes ya think... Algie floating on a reservoir can have a whole ecosystem steming from it, and then get hit by a jetski.

I see. Well I wish you luck. You working agaist some pretty large forces lol. It'd be dope to see some pieces that actually have something substantial to say.

I agree that the world is full of junk food knowledge. Me being left, these articles don't even look like knowledge cause they just say stuff I don't agree with and don't have any supporting arguments. The words just bounce off me.

I can understand an article making you happy, then feeling like you want to post it. No judgment on that, but why post such a right article in such a left space? Especially such a surface level one? I guess there is dopamine in arguing.

I can easily (but maybe inaccurately) see this as rage bait just to pass the time. That's based on the idea the the daily mail wouldn't convice a leftist on anything.

Deal :) If there's anything ya want me to look at just holler. My girlfriend is building an aquarium so hopefully I find some interesting fellas in there.

Hmmm. I get the appeal of sharing biased topical reporting. Though that would be junk food knowledge. Can't eat too much of it or ya won't have a foundation.

I see it. I'll just be really pedantic and say that sounds like 'runescape themed'. Just like we have rogue themed games and rogue-likes. Roguelikes don't need to be about rogues because the -like suffix is about gameplay.

The more I read the daily mail that you post the less and less convinced I am of them. Very light short articles and kinda assumes I'm right leaning for all their value arguments.

I feel like they could explore the possible reasons for the higher estimation under biden. They also just assume immigration is a net negative and don't substantiate it.

It just feels like a low effort circle jerk article meant to lean into peoples preconceived notions without adding any insight. If it were anything else I'd imagine it would argue harder.

I see. Nice and short article. She seems to believe that sending folks to rehab is the fix. Sounds good. Others say that mental health and poverty are why people are addicts and that this is not fixing the underlying problems. Sounds better to me.

Feels like a bold but uninformed move. Quick, does something and gets people talking. There will be less folks on the steets for a bit while they are in rehab. The real test will be if those folks are back on the streets after a few weeks/ months.

I'd say its unproven if things are going to be better long term and whether or not this addresses the issue.

I like it. People deserve more comfortable lives. Though I think getting that by appealing to the owner class is unlikely to work. If keeping people happy was profitable it'd probably be implemented.

My take is that you have to understand where your power is. Generally our main power is in our labor because that is what the owner class wants from us. So unless you intend to replace the owner class or abolish the system, organized withholding of labor is the most valuable negotiation piece you have.
