Interesting, in what kind do they fail? It's sad that the bill didn't introduce an replacement way.

Yeah, most "standard" keyboards have a second windows key on the right side where that one is.
If it's gonna be the windows key being replaced... Why not just use that (just wild assumptions based on the mock up). Tho they can't stop me from sending that key back to it's original purpose with via.
I've tried to setup Lemmy and such but the setups for docker are usually what I'd call lackluster...

Yeah that's when they cheap out on a resistor to make it USB/USB-C compliant (since without that they simply don't request any power. There isn't any power provided if nothing is requested).

That sounds like buying cheap getting cheap. Good USB c cables from ugreen and similar aren't that expensive in my experience.

Personally all lightning cables I've seen have been damaged in some way. Those weren't my cables tho. And regarding USB c haven't had a failure either.
