What I love about this stuff is that there's clear rules for what content gets banned for school kids and why (ie. pretty graphic, age inappropriate stuff).

Then a bunch of crazies go off the wall with nonsense.

Then we get the rationals coming in, having never read the original regulations, claiming we need clear regulations.

These countries and organizations are destroying the world on our behalf. We like what they do, we buy their products, and we accept it all because it's more convenient, tasty, or otherwise makes our lives better.

We need to do both personal and societal responsibility. We need to stop the pollution at the source AND we need to accept what that means. Stopping agricultural waste for example will mean things like expensive meat, less meat, more ugly looking vegetables, eating more plants. Otherwise it won't happen. There's no dream scenario where we stop the environmental destruction from an environmentally destructive thing and yet we still keep the thing.

Yeah it's just better the overwhelming majority of the time and for some reason is nonexistent despite this advantage.

R has a 2,200 lb carrying capacity. It can haul or tow almost anything a regular person needs to 99% of the time.

These little trucks also build and supply massive countries across the world. It's preposterous to think you need 4,000lbs of carrying capacity day in and day out. You absolutely do not.

Unless I missed something Elton John testified at trial as a defense witness. Like fuck Spacey but this is a nothingburger. Giving testimony under oath in a trial is a basic part of how our justice system works.

Imagine being internally terrified of the mundane world around you and outwardly certain you're a big bad wolf. Such is a conservative.
