He's being played to convince him to renew. Good thing is he's getting enough game time to properly develops his chemistry with the rest of the side.
Even if he goes back on the bench after he signs, it's great for the team overall.

Until you give him a 3-5 game stint in the side I don't think we are anywhere near in a position to judge his input.
Artetaball really isn't a "pick it up in training" thing. You really need to get a feel for it playing with others.
The vision is there though. That ball to Eddie was pure sex and would've been an assist to a better striker.
He'd need to take a pay cut.
