Reddit has always been slow as fuck.
Been using Bacon Reader for like 8 years now, even bought the premium version multiple times.

What do you expect? Reddit at this point is the digital equivalent of a totalitarian dictatorship. Just without the mass murder aspect. Not that u/spez wouldn't be on board with that if he could.
Also I like the idea of not having a monolithic replacement that would lead to the same problems. Let us have a flourishing lemmy, kbin, saidit, etc...
