you know...we don't have a lot of choices, i'm EST 1987 and sort of missed the boat for whatever reason but argument still stands on why we can't buy houses...

to be honest, we need to rotate somewhere, away from the metropolitan cities and create a place that is livable and affordable and one day allow it to become a metropolitan city where we can profit off of owning a home

yes, well i love android, and i'm not switching because i'm unhappy, actually the contrary, but was just voicing my thoughts, it's just purely a personal decision and nothing to do with the experience as i'm sure getting used to iphone won't be so seamless but i'm going to give it a shot

yes true, i think with steady wifi calling now it's not a big deal, the bigger deal is number 2 and 3

i do work in locations where there is only starlink and iphone seems to fair better for message and video, imo

I can relate, I suffer from anhedonia which sounds like what your describing, I wish there was a quick fix for it because and life can be a chore...very hard to overcome but I believe one day it will happen for us!

Dude Rectify started slow but seems like mid season 2 might start to be picking up 👌🏻 thanks again that was one I'd never heard of.

Just a very short context so I was trying to generate images in Gemini on my phone, I replaces assistant with Gemini. It wouldn't work, I had a friend that generated some amazing logos with it and I was impressed.

So I decided to sign up for the trial for a free month and then 27 CAD from every month after and I think you get 2 TB of Google One storage...

I told it to generate images I tried running on all the other models and it instantly gave me exactly what I wanted with the same prompt as I used on other popular models.

Very clean layout as well, I like how it has a "suggest more" button so first round of images didn't make the cut but I hit suggest more 1x and it was much better and then 2x it was bang on what I wanted.

Overall kind of expensive and I think with certain phones they should be giving you access to this for using their flagship device (pixel phones)

Really impressed on usability and results really tops the other ones I've used out of box.

yes agree but that is part of what makes it good ^I only get to consume content that happens to be available here^

nobody is talking about the results tho lol, the results are so bad on google these day unless your looking for stuff near you to go eat etc... better to use FOSS LLMs instead of google

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

ddg results aren't as good :(

not trying to argue the fact Kagi isn't private.

kagi gives me some very very good search results, i haven't been able to find better anywhere else with no fine-tuning or anything. works great out of the box.

This has been a a tough one, Google gives all ad-focused results, and DuckDuckGo gives crap results (imho)

I did find Kagi recently but they charge after 100 free trial searches, and I'm considering paying for it because it's so good. Best results I've gotten anywhere in a long time.

Thanks!

Gait biometric systems capture step patterns using video images and then convert the collated data into a mathematical equation. Gait as a biometric measure can be influenced by several factors, including footwear, terrain, fatigue, and injury.

...Love this sub, I don't have hardcore needs in terms of privacy, but wanted to know for people that enjoy a covid mask, their opinion on Gait Rec. Technologies, and does any one have any intel in throwing these systems off, whether or not that is impossible?

All in all pretty decent sorry I attached a 35 min video but didn't wanna link to twitter and wanted to comment on this...pretty cool tho not a huge fan of mark but I prefer this over what the rest are doing...

The open source AI model that you can fine-tune, distill and deploy anywhere. It is available in 8B, 70B and 405B versions.

Anyone ever used this before wanted to get some feedback possibly 👀

I tried about 3x to

  1. submit post
  2. upload photo

It wasn't working kept getting failed. What ended up working is I had to click browse my photo gallery, and then I clicked on the photo I wanted to upload and it worked.
